The movie finds the ex-army cop turned rootless drifter striking up a flirtatious rapport over the phone with his military police successor, Cobie Smulders' briskly capable Major Susan Turner. Notwithstanding Cruise's indomitable bravado, Jack Reacher: Never Go Back remains a fairly routine adventure. And once again, despite standing nearly a foot shorter than author Lee Child's larger-than-life hero does on the page, his armour-plated confidence let's us go along with far-fetched feats of derring-do that would put a caped superhero to shame. An interesting crime story with an excellent main character, tense plot, brutal action and a good cast.Tom Cruise follows up his 2012 outing as freelance righter of wrongs Jack Reacher with another round of bruising vigilante action. The soundtrack is good, it blended in perfectly with the atmosphere of the story.
The show looks interesting, very cinematic and is well directed. On interrogation, the suspect offers up a single note: 'Get Jack Reacher' So begins an extraordinary chase for the truth, pitting Jack Reacher against an unexpected enemy, with a skill for violence and a secret to keep. Original title Jack Reacher: Never Go Back. On the run as a fugitive from the law, Reacher uncovers a potential secret from his past that could change his life forever. A really pleasant surprise, considering that most good stories are ruined by today's writers. When a gunman takes five lives with six shots, all evidence points to the suspect in custody. Jack Reacher must uncover the truth behind a major government conspiracy in order to clear his name. Alan Ritchson is convincing in the role of Jack Reacher, but the other actors also portrayed their characters well. The fight scenes are excellent, tense and brutal.
There are only a few small things that could be better, but this is definitely better than the vast majority of today's shows, because it tries to entertain the viewer, and not bother him with unnecessary things. The show is a real surprise, because it does not suffer from most of the common flaws of today's film production.

The series follows the plot of the first book, "Killing Floor," and Reacher tries to find the culprits responsible for a series of murders. Most of today's series is unwatchable, but this is a really positive surprise. Alan Ritchson is a great choice for the role of Jack Reacher, not only does he look like him, but he conveyed his character well on screen. The story follows the atmosphere from the books well, and the casting is great. An interesting crime story that reminds us of good old-fashioned entertainment. Surprisingly good show, with great action scenes and a likeable main character.
